Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon. You’ll be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. As Vietnam’s largest metropolis, the city is a vibrant fusion of commercial energy and colonial charm, where lively markets coexist with historical landmarks.

In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day city tour including the exterior of the Notre-Dame Cathedral (under renovation until 2023), built entirely with materials from France, and the Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel. Explore Cho Lon (China Town) and the Jade Emperor Pagoda, an important Taoist site constructed by the Cantonese community in 1909.

2

This morning, drive 75 km northwest to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extraordinary underground system used by the Viet Cong during wartime. Hand-dug and stretching over 120 km, the tunnels include living quarters, kitchens, hospitals, and escape routes, showcasing ingenuity and resilience.

Return to the city for leisure time before beginning your afternoon tour. Visit the War Remnants Museum, which houses powerful exhibits on Vietnam’s conflicts, and enjoy shopping at the iconic Ben Thanh Market.

3

After breakfast, drive approximately two hours to the Mekong Delta. On arrival in My Tho, board a boat to explore the delta’s lush waterways and bustling life. Stop at Unicorn Island to taste fresh tropical fruits, enjoy Southern traditional music, and visit local orchards.

Continue to Ben Tre to witness coconut candy production, take a scenic walk, and ride a horse-drawn carriage. Visit a beekeeping farm for a tasting of honey tea. Return to Saigon by late afternoon and spend the evening at leisure.

4

Enjoy your morning at leisure before transferring to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. Rooms may not be ready until 2 PM.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake. Explore the floating village with its houses, schools, and police station, providing a glimpse into the daily life of local fishing communities.

5

After breakfast, visit Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire. Explore the South Gate, Bayon Temple with its iconic smiling faces, Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, Elephant Terrace, and Terrace of the Leper King.

Continue to Ta Prohm Temple, where massive tree roots entwine with ancient stone, famously featured in the movie Tomb Raider.

In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its grandeur and detailed bas-reliefs. Walk along its galleries and admire the intricate stone carvings that depict Hindu mythology.

6

Enjoy your final morning at leisure before transferring to the airport for your departure flight or onward journey.
